Open Day Events for New Prospective Parents - Children Starting Reception in September 2019

Rated GOOD by Oftsed our early years setting provides:

'Consistently good quality teaching and well established routines that ensure children get off to a good start in their education…… Children make strong progress and parents are positive about the provision.’  Ofsted Report April 2018.

If your child was born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 they are due to start in Reception class at a primary school from September 2019.

You must apply for a Reception place for your child even if they attend a school nursery or have an older brother or sister at your preferred school. If your child currently attends a nursery attached to a school this does not give them any priority for a place in Reception at that school.

For those parents who would like to come and look around our Reception, we warmly invite you to join us for one of our Open Days being held on the following days:

Thursday 1st November — 9.30am

Thursday 8th November — 4.30pm

Thursday 22nd November— 9.30am

Tuesday 27th November - 1.30pm

Thursday 29th November - 4.30pm

Tuesday 4th December - 1.30pm

Thursday 6th December — 4.30pm

Monday 10th December - 4.30pm

Please note, that if you are unable to attend any of these dates / times, then please contact the school office to arrange an alternate date.

This will give parents the opportunity to look around our EYFS (Reception) setting, meet our staff and see the setting for yourself.

The  eAdmissions website for online applications opened on 1 September and the closing date for on time applications is 15 January 2019.  If you apply after 15 January your application will be considered as late and will be processed after all the on time applications.

You can download a guide explaining how to apply for your child's school place online at

We look forward to seeing you at one of our open days!
